Thanks for dropping a line. Jeff's drawing have been flooring all of us in the studio as of late. Are you in the Richmond area? If so, you are welcome to join us on Thursday nights for open drawing for $5. We've been getting really great turnouts the past couple of weeks.
Thanks again to everyone who came out on Thursday!
I'd love to join you guys but I'm down here at Ringling. Fridays I sit in on George's figure class though, so I get my blast of Academy goodness once a week at least!
Jeff, your drawing, second to last...blows my mind.
ReplyDeleteI am so pumped to draw today now. Thanks for this blast of inspiration!
ReplyDeleteis that sumi ink on newsprint or is that a stronger paper?
Ted: Thanks! I feel that way about most of your drawings.
ReplyDeleteVincent: Sumi ink on Strathmore drawing paper, I think around 70-90 lbs.
Especialyl like the one with the back of the chair and white box.
ReplyDeleteBill, thanks for stopping in to post. I wish that I had gotten to the point of that drawing a bit quicker, but it was a great pose.
ReplyDeleteTed Kinsella's drawing- the 5th one down- that one blows my mind. I must own it, but I really wish that I had drawn it.
ReplyDeleteVincent,
