The Secret Sketchbook

I keep one large sketchbook at my desk that is reserved purely for playing around with materials and media. I don't allow myself to feel any pressure while working in this sketchbook - I just have fun playing with paint. It is a great way to get away from an illustration or painting I'm working on and agonizing over and to remind myself why I do this - because it is fun!
