Figure Drawing Night 10.28.10
I started a new sketchbook during figure drawing on thursday - it has very thin paper which makes for interesting bleedthrough. I painted the cover during the model's breaks.

Aa TAD RVA continues to grow, it would seem that we are making quite the impression on those outside of the region. More to come from TAD RVA!

a man with a solution
This piece was based of an article about the growing popularity of bicycling in New York City and how it is now one of the most bike friendly cities in the world. The city has attempted to adapt to this with such things as providing more bicycle racks and designated lanes. This is a good thing for the environment, personal health and limitation of automobile traffic, and in my opinion is the best way to get around in a city. There has also been, however, a negative effect. Many cyclists break laws such as riding in the wrong direction down lanes, running stop lights, riding on sidewalks, etc., which considering the heavy traffic and high population of the city can cause problems. This has resulted in many injuries and even deaths through various collisions.
So, this is a proposed solution.
